VISITORS to the centre of Marbella will have seen the traditional horses and carriages which are situated by the Alameda Park and are offered for hire to tourists so that they can see the old town and get a feel of the city.

There are currently 19 licences granted for horse-drawn carriages but whilst they may be an attraction, times have changed and the Council has decided to phase them out over a three-year period as licences expire.
