It's a hard truth to face if (like me) you're a meat-loving omnivore, but: research increasingly suggests you'll be healthier and happier if you switch to a plant-based diet.

A new study in a journal of The BMJ finds that a mostly vegan diet confers significant improvement in emotional well-being for people with type 2 diabetes, who are recommended by some authorities to switch to a plant-based to better manage the condition.
