It wasn’t long ago that Toronto was feeding on its Hogtown nickname. 

But in recent years, plant-based dining has muscled into the mainstream. And after Nota Bene chef David Lee plates the final meal of the year on New Year’s Eve, the Queen St. W. restaurant will close to reopen in March as an Asian-inspired plant-based eatery, riding the exploding lifestyle trend that is eating up Toronto’s food scene.
