Bee populations are thriving in the UK as human lifestyle changed due to pandemic

While Covid-19 has forced many to stay indoors around the world, mother nature has been able to work her magic. Under lockdown, there has been less traffic resulting in less pollution which has improved the environment globally.

In the U.K., for example, the bee population has been thriving. Beekeeper Helen McGregor states: “Less traffic, less pollution is bound to make a difference to the environment which of course has a positive knock-on effect for bees. Hopefully, we see these changes lasting.”
